New Good Morning Announcements - with Mr. C!
In today's edition: It's Sandwich Day! ... among other things.

The district is planning to return to our Yellow Cohort Learning Status on Wednesday, November 4.
To summarize, this means:
The district returns to offering in-person classes, five days a week to students 4K-6 and special education students.
The district uses an Orange/Black Cohort Model for grades 7-12 to de-densify our building and limit contact between students. Less than 100% of students (likely 50%) back in school using close to traditional school-day (8:10-2:48) and school-year calendar with numerous social-distancing guidelines and safety measures, and virus mitigation strategies are in place, while students in virtual cohorts learn alongside their in-class counterparts.
On Wednesday, students 7-12 remain virtual (as our Yellow Cohort Learning Status dictates).
If families have been contacted by our district nurse, Toni Wallace, or the County Health Department and given a different date of return, we ask that families continue to follow that guidance.

Congratulations to Shelby Brown and Ty Rafel For their performance in the WSMA Virtual State Honors Band!
They attended a virtual camp this summer and recorded their parts for the performance livestream Thursday 10/29. Amazing work! #HSDGoTigers #TigerProud

Just a few reminders about food service for the week on 11/2-11/6:
No food service on Monday, November 2 (No school - teacher inservice)
Tuesday, November 3 will be a pick up (11:30-12:30) and delivery day (11:00-1:00pm)
When the district transitions back into a Yellow Status on Wednesday, November 4, the district will begin offering food service pick up only, from 12:40-1:10, as staffing will no longer be available for delivery.

An important letter has been emailed to district families detailing a Learning Model Update (#3).
This letter can also be found on our website, under School Reopening Plan - Reopening Communications.

Since receiving the CharacterLives grant earlier this year, Jeremiah has purchased some goodies for Hillsboro. Check them out below!
Dave Skogen, chairman of Festival Foods and board member of CharacterLives, had the photo of Jeremiah and his mom made into a very special canvas. Jeremiah thanked him with a big plate of cookies, of course! #HSDGoTigers #TigerProud

These #HSDGoTigers spend time rock climbing and enjoying the sunshine last week!

An unlimited amount of fans can go to Viroqua for the JV football game but can't use the bleachers. Stay in the grass areas, social distance, and can bring lawn chairs.

Podcasting and a little sustained silent reading is just what these #HSDGoTigers needed.

It’s National School Lunch Week and we need your helping thanking our amazing lunch staff. Thank you for all you do! #HSDGoTigers

Our annual Flu Shot Clinic will be held on October 28th!
Flu shot forms should have been brought home or delivered last week. If you did not receive one or have lost it, just click the link below and you are able to print off a new one. #HSDGoTigers
