Reminder - the parent meeting on teen sexting/social media has been rescheduled for April 25th at 6:45 pm in the HS gym. No meeting tonight.

The elementary library will be hosting a BOGO (Buy One, Get One Free) Scholastic Book Fair tomorrow, April 17th during the Elementary School Education Fair. Sales will be from 4:30 to 6:30 on this night only. Please stop in and stock up for summer reading! Hope to see you there!

3rd Grade students were able to have a guest speaker come talk about being a local hero. Firefighter and dispatcher, Jared Rahr, came to talk about fire safety, his job duties, and being a lifetime learner. We really appreciated Jared giving his time and expertise. #HSDGoTigers

HHS student-athlete, Sydney Johnson signed her National Letter of Intent for Northern State University today. #HSDGoTigers
Hillsboro High School Chess Team members participated in the Necedah Chess Tournament over the weekend. Aaron Frederick took 7th overall and Jesse Brand took 10th overall. There were almost 60 competitors in the tournament.
The Hillsboro team hosts #DenimDays to help raise funds for local organizations. The team recently chose to support the Hillsboro Excellence in Education Fund! This fund has given over $36,000 in grants for teachers and scholarships for students since 2012 with more to be given this Spring! #HSDGoTigers #TeamRoyalBank
The School District of Hillsboro received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Wonewoc Fire Department for allowing John Rick to respond to calls and emergencies during work hours. #HSDGoTigers
