Greg Johnson received a commendation from the school board on January 10 for his outstanding service to the district.
Mr. Johnson's primary role is a considerable one, providing students with extra support in academics, and with staff as an instructional coach offering collaborative support throughout the MS/HS.
He also schedules and supports universal screening, intervention, and progress monitoring for the middle school.
In recent years, Mr. Johnson has taken on numerous other duties, including acting as a liaison for families of students sent home due to illness or extended absence, and organizing and structuring middle school Tiger Time.
Mr. Johnson's contribution to Hillsboro School District is tremendous, and his spirit of generosity and kindness is inspiring to his colleagues and students alike.
