Fourth-grade students took a field trip to Ocooch Dairy yesterday to deepen their knowledge of the vital agriculture industry and culture in our area. Students learned about the diverse range of agricultural careers available, including behind-the-scenes and auxiliary fields that often go unconsidered when most people think about farming.
Along with the deep dive into the industry, students had the opportunity to experience a snapshot of the nature of the work and day-to-day responsibilities of farm life.
The students enjoyed their visit to Ocooch Dairy, and the exploration of the diverse and meaningful responsibilities of farm management.
