The open gym scheduled for Tuesday at the elementary gym has been canceled. 7th and 8th grade boys basketball practice will still begin Wednesday after school at the elementary gym.

Due to washouts from flooding, the Haunted Trail is cancelled this weekend. The Monster Dash 5k will still be taking place on Saturday at Hillsboro High School. Registration 5:00 p.m., race at 6:00 p.m.

Students in US History 9 saved the world by solving various puzzles in the "Historical Mastermind" Breakout Box activity. These #HSDGoTigers worked together to solve clues that would eventually lead them to the hidden failsafe key!

7th and 8th grade boys basketball will begin practicing on Wednesday, October 23 from 3:30 - 5:30 in the elementary gym. There will be an open gym on Tuesday at the elementary from 3:30 - 5:00.

Reminder: Parent-Teacher conferences are being held tomorrow, October 16th from 4-6:30PM. Picture retake day is Thursday, October 17th. Students who had originals taken should bring their original picture packages with them to give to the photographer if they are having retakes.

Sports Update: Junior High Football vs. New Lisbon will be played at Necedah schools. 5:00 start time.

A free flu shot clinic for students is scheduled for Nov 5th. Information and consent forms will be available for elementary students at parent/teacher conferences this week and sent home with middle/high school students.

Youth girls basketball registration will take place on Monday, Oct. 14 from 7-7:30pm in the high school cafeteria with a parent meeting for all girls who will be participating starting at 7:30pm. #HSDGoTigers


Don't forget about parent-teacher conferences coming up this week!
They will take place on Monday, October 14 from 4-7:30 pm and again on Wednesday, October 16 from 4-6:30 pm. Teachers will be in their classrooms.

It is college application time for the Seniors in Hillsboro! They are currently writing personal statements/essays in English 12 that can be used for college admissions, scholarships, and/or job applications.
As part of the unit, Maggie Landsinger, the Regional Admission Advisor for Richland, Baraboo Sauk County and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, visited and gave a presentation on the do's and don'ts of college applications and essays.

A Scholastic Book Fair will be held next week in the STEM lab at Hillsboro Elementary during Parent-Teacher Conferences.
The book fair will run on Monday, October 14th from 3:30 to 7:30 and then again on Wednesday, October 16th from 3:30 to 6:30.
