Hillsboro sports update: HS Boys Basketball at La Farge on Friday has been cancelled.
Congratulations to Brett Salisbury, Dylan Haun & Makenna Haugh for being chosen to represent Hillsboro Elementary School at the Wisconsin State Youth Art Month Show!
Their artwork is currently hanging in the Capitol building with around 400 other pieces of art all done by K-12 artists from around Wisconsin! #HSDGoTigers #TigerProud
Where would we be without our amazing small town community?! We want to give a shout out to Royal Bank for their help with the Freshman show fundraiser.
If you have any gently used shoes lying around your house, we want them! All kinds of gently used shoes are acceptable. They must have soles and be free of rips or holes. No ice skates, roller blades or ski boots please. This fundraiser will be going on from January 27-March 26. Everyone can bring shoes to the High School and there will also be some boxes in businesses around town.

We want to thank Deputy Roy Torgerson and Betsie Nachtigal from the Vernon County Sheriff's Department who presented Hillsboro Fourth Graders with their CounterAct graduation certificates!
Deputy Torgerson and Hillsboro Chief Pat Clark led students through the program which encourages children to:

Congratulations to the Hillsboro High School Chess Team who won the Royall High School Varsity Chess Tournament, beating two teams and taking home the traveling Rook trophy. Awesome job, team!

Congratulations to these young men who have qualified for the state powerlifting meet at the 220, 242, and 275 pound weight classes!
Since powerlifting is not a school sponsored sport, the boys are required to pay for all expenses ($115/student). If anyone is interested in donating, please contact Eric Auel at the high school. Any help is greatly appreciated by these Tigers!

The Hillsboro wrestling team had a great day Saturday in New Lisbon for the Regional tournament!
Four wrestlers are moving on to Sectionals this upcoming Saturday at Westby - we’ll see you there!
