Five high school seniors traveled to Luther College in Decorah, Iowa on Sunday, January 13th to participate in the Dorian Vocal Festival.
This festival is the largest mass choir festival, as the choir is made up of over 1,100 students from Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and other surrounding states! Lauren Banker, Kelsi Grivois, Hope Huffman, Hunter Landrath and Brooks Mitchell were chosen to take part in this amazing event.
After a day of practicing, they were rewarded with a Sunday evening performance by the Luther College Freshman choirs and a local high school choir. On Monday evening (January 14th), they performed their concert, and the sounds were breathtaking! As stated by one of the students: "This is one of my favorite high school memories".
It is an experience beyond words, and we are so happy they were given this opportunity! #HSDGoTigers #TigerProud
