Mrs. Severson brought a group of middle school students to Ms. Mislivecek's Kindergarten classroom to read books with their younger peers.
Hillsboro middle school students used this opportunity to form relationships with their elementary reading buddies while helping to strengthen literacy skills across both buildings.
The Reading Buddy project was a success and greatly enjoyed by both middle school and elementary students, and is planned to continue throughout the year.
