Students work on bubble mural at Kickapoo Valley Reserve

On March 4th, Hillsboro High School art students traveled to the Kickapoo Valley Reserve for the annual Student Art Experience.

The Art Experience allows area students to visit the Kickapoo Valley Reserve and study with a variety of professional artisans. This year, ten guest artists were on site teaching classes, including oil painting, copper ring making, mural art, cake decorating, leatherwork, natural journaling, and many more. Students, including those who participated in cake decorating, were able to take home their creations.

This immersive day of creativity allowed Hillsboro students to network with peers in the creative community and study with acclaimed artists.
