This week, Hillsboro middle and high school students began book tastings in the library.
Book Tastings are the brainchild of district librarian Teresa Krajco, who organizes the event in collaboration with the English Language Arts department each semester. The event transforms the library into a cafe, offering a variety of literary genres for students to sample. While students sip hot chocolate, they enjoy a circuit of silent reading.
This event highlights the wide selection of books available in the library while helping each student discover their personal appetite for reading.
