Junior Dominic Kirkpatrick finished 4th at the D3 Cross Country sectional meet, earning him a trip to state to compete!
2025 marks Kirkpatrick's third year running for Hillsboro, and his athletic career has been marked by exceptional growth each season, both in performance and dedication.
"His qualifying for state is wonderful, but it's no surprise to his coaches and teammates. His commitment is evident in the countless miles he logged over the summer in preparation for this season. His hard work and perseverance have paid off, earning him this well-deserved trip to Wisconsin Rapids," Coach Danica Sebranek says.
State Cross Country will be held on November 1st at the Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids. Kirkpatrick's race will begin at noon, and we encourage you to come out and cheer him on!
