Students at APT

On September 25, a group of high school students traveled to Spring Green to attend the American Players Theatre's performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

APT offers a student matinee series every fall to give students an opportunity to attend a professional stage performance and discover the magic of theater. After the play, students are invited to stay for "talkback," in which actors, crew, and directors come out to answer students' questions.

A Midsummer Night's Dream was written by Shakespeare between the plays Love's Labour's Lost and Romeo and Juliet, and drew inspiration from several sources, including the work of the ancient Roman poet, Ovid. It is the most produced play in APT's repertoire, and continues to hold a special place in the hearts of ticket holders.
