Build My Future Tech Ed Fieldtrip

Several students from Mr. Levy's Tech Ed class at Hillsboro High School had an exciting day yesterday at the Onalaska Omni Center, participating in the "Build My Future" career event. This event provided students with an opportunity to explore a wide range of career paths and interact directly with professionals across various trades.

The "Build My Future" event was designed to connect students with hands-on experiences in various skilled trades and technical industries. It allows high schoolers to witness firsthand the wide range of opportunities available in high-demand fields.

Throughout the day, students engaged in interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and conversations with industry experts in construction, heavy equipment operations, automotive, electrical, and more. This field trip allowed our students to gain practical insights into the day-to-day realities of these careers and the skills and education needed to succeed in them.

Events like "Build My Future" play a crucial role in helping students connect their classroom learning to the real world of work. By providing hands-on experiences and direct interaction with professionals, these events aim to raise awareness of career options in skilled trades and technical fields.
