Last night at De Soto High School, six middle school students competed in the FFA Middle School Leadership Development Event. The leadership team competed in a quiz bowl in which Kaylee Sake, Stella Dunek, and Megan Bell placed second and therefore advanced.
FFA Leadership Development Events are designed to help middle and high schoolers build rapport, leadership, and agricultural expertise through friendly competition. The events can cover a range of topics including communication, public speaking, and decision making.
