NEW STAFF PROFILE | Help us in welcoming another new staff member, Stacy Sosinsky!

Stacy completed her undergraduate degree in Women's Studies and LGBTQ Studies at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and also received her Master's of Science in Counseling Studies from Capella University.

She is also a Hillsboro native and enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, gardening, going on adventures with her family, hanging out with her siblings and their families, and exploring flea markets and greenhouses with friends.

When asked why she is looking forward to teaching in Hillsboro, this is what she said:

"We have such great kids in Hillsboro and this inspirational, dedicated, and caring team committed to their learning--I am looking forward to working with this amazing group of people to create an environment where all kids feel like they belong, are valued, and are given the support they need to succeed in life.

In a world with ever-advancing technology and ever-growing demands and challenges for both parents and youth the philosophy that "it takes a village to raise a child" seems more important than ever. I am incredibly proud that our community continues to practice this approach, taking a vested interest in the future of our youth. I also feel extremely grateful to be raising my kids in an area where neighbors are still willing to help one another, where definitions of family extend far beyond shared bloodlines, and where difference and acceptance are championed and celebrated."

Welcome Stacy, we are so happy to have you in our District! #HSDGoTigers
